Ingredients

Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 1 lb ribeye steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Butter Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

Prepare the Filling:

  1. Sauté the Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly caramelized. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 more seconds. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  2. Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak. Season with salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 3-5 minutes until browned and cooked through.

  3. Combine Everything: Return the sautéed vegetables to the skillet and mix with the cooked steak. Stir until everything is evenly combined and heated through.

Assemble the Sliders:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Slice the Buns: Carefully slice the slider buns in half without separating them completely. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  3. Layer the Ingredients:

    • Spread the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the bottom buns.
    • Place the provolone cheese slices on top.
    • Add the top half of the buns over the filling.

Make the Butter Topping & Bake:

  1. Prepare the Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, sesame seeds (if using), and dried parsley.

  2. Brush the Sliders: Generously brush the butter mixture over the top of the buns.

  3. Bake the Sliders: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.

Serve & Enjoy:

  1. Slice & Serve: Use a sharp knife to cut the sliders apart. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of fries.
